I absolutely couldn’t wait to blog this wedding of Roana and Ian! I feel incredibly fortunate to document their destination wedding in YOSEMITE. Today, I’m sharing their gorgeous wedding that took place at the adorable Evergreen Lodge located in Groveland. Tucked in between forest, this charming lodge made the perfect location for friends and family to celebrate Roana and Ian’s wedding weekend. We had the entire property to ourselves which was nice knowing we weren’t battling tourist for clean photos. Roana got ready at the John Muir House which is quite honestly the most beautiful home I’ve ever photographed in. The rustic backdrops made the perfect “getting ready” spot for the bride. Ian also got ready nearby where he and his groomsmen were able to play with a giant chess set and climb up a web made of rope. Every detail in this wedding was well planned and executed from the ceremony located in the heart of the forest and their reception that took place in the main courtyard. One of my favorite details from their wedding was the 1,001 Japanese Crane spiral chandelier. Friends and family craft each crane by hand and was assembled on-site. It was truly an honor to photograph their wedding! STAY TUNE on Monday where I’ll be posting their pre-wedding photos we captured in the Yosemite National Park. This one you don’t want to miss! See you back here on Monday and have a great weekend!
