Shelter-in-Place San Francisco Intimate Wedding Elopement: Mikaela + Matt

Mikaela and Matt were supposed to get married in July 2020, but due to Covid-19 and the Shelter-in-Place mandate, they decided to elope on a Thursday in San Francisco. They chose the Presidio Chapel to get married since it’s a meaningful location that they frequently visit. The only individuals in attendance was Mikaela’s Maid-of-Honor Esther, who was their witness, and me, their photographer! Matt’s brother officiated their wedding from Texas over the video conference app, Zoom. Their intimate wedding was such a blessing to be a part of during this global pandemic. I’m so glad that we were able to have this wedding for them now instead of waiting another year for their wedding. I am looking forward to photographing their engagement session and upcoming 2021 postponed wedding! Congratulations, Mikaela and Matt!!
