I can FINALLY post these photos!!! These photos were taken while being filmed by Lorimerworks for my promo video. It’s been really hard keeping these photos under the radar as I “teased” photos on my Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Where do I begin?
First off, I want to thank you all for the AH-MAZING responses to my video. Words cannot describe how overwhelmed with joy I am with all the love, comments, personal messages, shares, etc. I didn’t quite expect anyone to really see it but it reached more people than I could’ve imagined. Thank you ALL!
Most of my inspiration for the video came from Green Wedding Shoes. The production was a two month long (or short) process but it’s a project I worked on EVERYDAY whether it was staying up past 2am brainstorming ideas, outfits, location scouting, DIY projects, creating a timeline, making back and forth trips to Beverly’s, communicate with Anton, etc. while on a heavy loaded wedding schedule (6 weddings and 10 photoshoots). We filmed during the month of May 2013 and the first location we filmed at was my dear friend Lindy’s family private estate in Wilton, CA. They own a bunch of show horses and had lots of land that made EVERYTHING perfect. Seriously! The oak tree, rusty chevy truck, and open field was all there and was begging to be photographed.
My vision for the oak tree was to have white lanterns hanging on them. What was more amazing was the light streaming through the tree and lanterns which gave it that “natural” glow.
Another prop that I completely made from scratch is the “FOREVER” burlap banner that Lindy and Eric is holding. It’s super easy to make and it’ll save you a lot of money if you were to buy from Etsy.com. To make a long story short, I traced the shape of the banner with a piece of paper, then used that paper as a stencil for my burlap material. I bought letter stencils from Beverly’s and painted the letters with $1 washable white paint. I glued each burlap panel to the back of burlap string and tied white ribbons on the end. Ta-da! So easy, right?!
Laura Miller Designs create a rustic, peach-colored inspired wedding bouquet, boutonniere, and flower crown for me. The only request I had for her was that I wanted peach colored Peonies and Garden Roses and she went above and beyond to create the most beautiful florals!!! I completely trusted her and her artistry to design everything. I couldn’t stop staring at it while I was driving. 🙂 PLUS, it smelled HEAVENLY!
Nancy Hua created the magical fairytale look for Lindy. I found her hair and makeup inspirations from Pinterest. 🙂
Lindy and Eric were really amazing to work with. They were so into the moment that I even think they forgot that they had 2-3 cameras pointed at them. I love the way they move together – they’re such naturals!!!
I’m so excited for these photos and I hope you ENJOY!!!
Yes! That is a real cow under the oak tree! She lives there! 🙂 She runs away when we get close to her. Poor thing… :p
My white lantern vision came to life!!!
OMG, Lindy looks GORGEOUS!!! I love this photo of her. <3
Another favorite photo of Lindy on the right – she looks drop dead gorgeous!
Jasmine, I love it more every time I see the pictures!!! We had so much fun shooting with you! You need to post a picture of you riding the horse 😉
Wowzers, Jasmine!!! These are absolutely stunning photos of my bro and sis -in-law!! Love, love, love them!
And I second Lindy’s comment — let’s see the photo of you riding the horse! 😉
