I’m excited to showcase the last segment of my promo video – the engagement session! You may remember these sweet faces from my SWAT engagement session. 🙂 I had such a great experience with these two that I’ve asked them to be a part of my promo video. They were both so ecstatic to help me out with the video and I seriously couldn’t ask for more! Leslie and Kevin went above and beyond and bought new outfits to match my vision. If you’ve photographed with me before, you know that I LOVE color in my engagement sessions because colors POP – colors look GREAT in photos. I think Leslie and Kevin stand out well from the San Francisco skyline. 🙂

A few props I made for the engagement session was the ribbon string for the weather balloons. Pretty easy to make, all I did was cut ribbon and lace and tied knots around a regular piece of string. I love how the wind blew the ribbon in the video! 🙂 And yes, I had three balloons but unfortunately, one of them popped. :p

Another prop I somewhat “created” was a 5 piece heart chalkboard. I bought this from World Market but didn’t really like the black hearts. So I bought gold glitter and spray paint and turned it into a flashing gold heart banner. 🙂 You’ll see this in the second set of the e-session.

My brother, Joe, helped bring a friend’s bike cruiser and my chihuahua, Porky to use as props on the Pier. Such a cute addition that I think goes swell with the San Francisco theme!

We photographed on (seriously) one of the most WINDY and COLDEST days in San Francisco. Poor Leslie and Kevin had to bare it all but they were such troopers standing the wind. In the last leg of our session, the windy literally felt like it blew us away. It was sooo crazy but I’m so happy that the images turned out.

It doesn’t look windy here, but after I snapped this shot, the wind seriously picked up like 20 MPH MORE and blew us away… haha.
