Holman Ranch – Carmel Valley Wedding Photography: Austin + Ryan

I remember when Austin and Ryan first inquired with me. I was sitting at my local coffee shop in-between consultations meeting with potential 2015 couples. When I first read Austin’s email, she expressed how ecstatic she was that she found me and had gone through over 20 pages on my blog. I knew right then and there that we’d be a great fit for each other. I can’t believe the big day has already passed but what’s left are these cherished memories my team (thank you Jess and Rachel!) and I were able to capture. Their wedding was intimate and only limited to under 70 guests. We had an early start to the day knowing that the Carmel marathon was happening the same day. Luckily, traffic wasn’t bad and traveling to their venue, Holman Ranch (one of my favorite venues!) was a breeze. Austin and Ryan’s first look was one of the most touching we’ve ever got to photograph. Tears were rolling down both of their cheeks as they held each other in their arms. Ryan surprised Austin with a pair of beautiful pearl earrings from Tiffany and Austin surprised Ryan with a Gibson Electric Guitar. Ryan’s face was priceless as he opened the guitar out of the case (make sure you see that photo!). During the ceremony, a sailors knot was created and they had a dove release for Austin’s father who passed away. Austin and Ryan’s wedding was beautifully crafted by the talented Allison from Engaged and Inspired. With flowers from Fleurs, their wedding was put together in the most perfect way. Austin was totally blown away when she saw their dessert table. I mean, I don’t blame her – just check out her reaction! ;] They had a naked cake and pies made by Freedom Bakery and the most coolest marquee letters all DIYed by the groom himself! Not to mention the tulle wall added a soft and chic touch to the rustic barn. Their wedding is one to remember and I couldn’t be more grateful that Austin and Ryan have come into my life. Congratulations, Austin and Ryan! Thank you for all that you’ve done for me and I wish you a life filled with adoring love, passion, and laughter. Have an amazing time on your honeymoon to Italy!!!
