If there’s one couple who I can describe as the most in love and the most patient, it’s Alisha and Joey. They contacted me in 2013 (before Joey was drafted overseas to Afghanistan with the Military) to photograph their engagement session. I remember their session as one of my favorites because they were both so natural and so beautiful in front of the camera. While Joey was overseas, Alisha would tell me that she would constantly relive the moments during the engagement session as she missed her future husband-to-be. Fast forward two years later, Alisha and Joey finally tied the knot at one of my favorite venues in Livermore, Murrieta’s Well. Their wedding was very intimate and filled with their closes family and friends. Emotions were pouring throughout the day. At first, Alisha and Joey was against doing a first look but later decided to go for it. Their first look was one to remember. As Joey turned around to see his beautiful bride for the first time, he gasped with excitement and tears rolled down their cheeks as they hugged. That moment was just beautiful. They later mentioned the first look was the best thing EVER and encourages every couple to do it. I concur. ;] Alisha and Joey’s wedding was romantic and vintage – filled with soft pastel florals by Laura Miller Design who also gorgeously styled their wedding. Congratulations, Alisha and Joey! You both are the perfect fit for each other and we wish you a lifetime of more patience, happiness, and love!
