I had the opportunity to photograph a wedding in Hawaii at the end of April this year and it so happened that one of my 2017 couples, Christina and Jeff were guests at the wedding!! We immediately took the opportunity to photograph their engagement session in Maui because it’s different, unique, and it’s a destination!! We begin began our first location at the Ali’i Kula Lavender Farm where it was pouring rain! We waited for the rain to stop and photographed in the fragrant lavender. The rain was on and off but Christina and Jeff were troopers to continue photographing. As we were driving to the beach, we stumbled upon the most beautiful bougainvillea wall!!! It was literally an entire block long. We pulled over and photographed on the side of the road. We ended our session at one of the beaches in Wailea where we captured one of the most gorgeous sunsets. I absolutely love photographing in new destinations because it’s fresh and inspiring to me. I’m so glad Christina and Jeff were up to photograph in Hawaii. It was a dream come true for me! I cannot wait for their wedding next year with Charmed Events. It’s going to be amazing!!!
