San Francisco City Hall Wedding: Carolyn + Paulo

This couple, Carolyn and Paulo, I hold near and dear to my heart. They really are one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever photographed but what is even more evident is their love for each other. I can’t help but just truly admire the love that they both exude for each other. I knew when I photographed their wedding that it was going to be one amazing day and it was just – that. Despite there being a commercial being filmed outside their getting ready hotel and protest outside of City Hall, we managed to capture as many portraits of them even though we were about an hour behind schedule. All that mattered to them that day was each other and that’s exactly what a wedding day should be about – each other. Frances from Charmed Events Group did an amazing job planning and stylizing their wedding utilizing colors of maroon, blush, greens, and black! I love how the whole theme tied in well together. During the reception, Paulo surprised his beautiful wife with a singing duet with Daniela Andrade. It was one of the most heartfelt moments of the night.
