[Part I]: Destination Wedding Photographer – Yosemite National Park: Rosana and Nestor

Yosemite National Park holds a special place in Rosana and Nestor’s heart. They planned multiple trips to the park where on one them, Nestor proposed to Rosana. Fast forward a few months later, they planned a beautiful wedding in Yosemite. I still clearly remember photographing this day. My dear friend, Christina Chen (Makeup by Quis), started hair and makeup for Rosana bright and early in San Francisco. When they finished, I picked up Christina from her studio and we all drove 4.5 hours to Rosana and Nestor’s wedding venue, Rush Creek Lodge. We checked in, got my gear ready, Christina touched up Rosana, and the bride and groom changed into their wedding attire. We set up a first look outside the lobby for them to see each other. Rosana and Nestor both shed tears as they hugged and kiss. We then all carpooled an hour to Yosemite National Park where we went all around to their favorite spots to photograph. April was such a picturesque time to photograph with all of the waterfalls cascading down the mountains. We ended our shoot at El Capitan, where Nestor popped the question a few months ago. I love that Christina and I were there to capture and touch up Rosana and Nestor throughout the shoot. I’m so so excited to share their wedding! Stay tuned!
