[Part II]: Yosemite Wedding Photographer: Rush Creek Lodge – Rosana + Nestor

Continuing Rosana and Nestor’s wedding from [Part I] where we got to photograph in Yosemite National Park, I am very excited to share their wedding at Yosemite Rush Creek Lodge! This venue is relatively new and it was so exciting to photograph in a new environment. As their only photographer for the entire weekend (I didn’t have an assistant or second shooter), I embraced the day taking responsibility of all roles photographing all getting ready to their grand exit at night. Rosana did an amazing job planning her own wedding and used such talented vendors to create the wedding of her dreams. She put in much thought into the colors, calligraphy, silk ribbons and runners, to the stationary, flowers, etc. to create the coziest gathering for friends and family to celebrate their union. The day was filled with such loving and tender moments that I couldn’t even help but shed a few tears. It was such a fun wedding as Rosana and Nestor held each other during their first dance surrounded by a sea of sparklers and shared sweet kisses throughout the day. I want to give a big shout out and thank you to my girl, Christina from Makeup by Quis who not only did hair and makeup for all the ladies, but acted as an assistant to our couple and to me. And to Rosana and Nestor, you both continue to fill my heart with love as we have become friends after the wedding. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for having me – I am so honored!
