Malibu Engagement Photographer: Malibu Rocky Oaks – Erica + Eric

What an incredible experience it was to photograph Erica and Eric’s dreamy engagement session at Malibu Rocky Oaks in Malibu, California! Christina of Makeup by Quis and I had the honor of traveling with this beautiful couple down to Southern California over the July 4th weekend. We were originally planning to travel to Banff, Canada (plane tickets booked, too!) to photograph but due to Covid and with the borders still closed to visitors, they decided to make a change to photograph at the iconic views at Malibu Rocky Oaks. It has always been a goal to photograph at this gorgeous venue and I can’t believe it actually happened!! The location, views, and lighting were all so incredible. Not to mention, Erica, Christina and I all helped to design Erica’s bespoke red dress from Leanne Marshall!! I don’t think she could have chosen a better dress style and color to go along the scenic views. I am still obsessing over all the images!! Thank you Erica, Eric and Cody for this amazing opportunity to photograph your engagement session in at this remarkable location!!! I seriously cannot wait for part III later this Fall!!
