San Francisco City Hall Weekend Wedding: Chelsea + Seth

What a treat it was to photograph the very FIRST weekend wedding at City Hall since they have opened up from the pandemic of Covid-19! Chelsea and Seth waited a very long time for this day to happen and I’m so glad they waited it out. For many months, they did not know if they were able to host their wedding since City Hall was closed for over 15 months. Once we got the word that they could move forward with their Sunday wedding, the planning resumed! We started at City Hall immediately with the iconic staircase photos since this was a major priority. I love that on the weekends, we have City Hall all to ourselves which means we don’t have to work around other couples and photographers taking photos at the same time. Their vivacious and energetic wedding party also made this wedding extremely fun. They incorporated a few Jewish traditions like the Huppah reading, traditional Jewish wedding ceremony, and the hora. We had so much fun capturing the first wedding back at City Hall and I hope that there will be many more weddings to come at this landmark location. Congratulations, Chelsea and Seth! Mozel Tov!
