San Mateo Japanese Tea Garden Wedding – Ashley + Darren

How adorable is my cousin, Ashley and her new husband, Darren?! I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful couple on their wedding day. They wanted a simple wedding so we started with photos at the San Mateo Japanese Tea Garden. While it was freezing cold, Ashley and Darren’s love and happiness brought out the warmth in these photos. They brought along their besties as we photographed their wedding party photos and had a good time strolling the gardens. We then headed over to HL Peninsula where they hosted a feast for many of their friends and family. My favorite part was when Ashley “caked” Darren not once, but THREE times in the face! Poor Darren, but he was such a good sport about it. 🙂 Big congratulations to the newlyweds! I’m so happy for you both to embark on this new adventure of married life together!
