I remember meeting Celine and Duy for the first time and I just knew that we would be an amazing fit! Celine has a collection of indoor plants (as I do, too!) and we have a love for Villa Montalvo. They chose this venue to honor Celine’s French heritage and wanted their wedding to resemble Europe. The Love Temple at Montalvo couldn’t have been the more perfect location to host their ceremony. Jennifer Cole Florals did an incredible job creating an abundance of large floral installations which elevated this luxurious wedding. I especially love the color combinations using white, gray, black, and green!! Kudos to Jennifer for designing this beautiful wedding. This wedding would not be successful without the brilliant planning of Jane from Smittenkiss. Everything went accordingly and we had an amazing time capturing all the moments and details at this wedding. One of the requested images from Celine and Duy was to capture a “modern day” image of them in front of the villa with Duy’s exotic car. This image was inspired by Celine’s grandparent’s photo that was captured in France in the 1940s so they wanted to mimic this photo. During the reception, Celine changed into a traditional Vietnamese Ai-Do to honor her Vietnamese heritage. Can we also talk about how dapper Duy looked in his blue velour suit and white jacket?! Oh and not to mention, their pug pups Darla and Marcel absolutely stole the show. 🙂 Congratulations, Celine and Duy! I’m so honored that you chose us to document your special day!
