A few years later, they finally made it happen. They traveled from Southern California to San Francisco, M’s City, to capture this long-overdue session in a place that means so much to her. We photographed at four locations: City Hall, the Palace of Fine Arts, the Legion of Honor, and the Golden Gate Bridge.
It was a classic San Francisco summer morning: foggy, cool, and mostly calm — until we reached the bridge, where the wind picked up in full force. Even with the gusts, we made it work to captured these everlasting memories.
I had the chance to work alongside two longtime friends: Mariel, who filmed the session, and Aimee, who handled hair and makeup and made sure M’s look stayed flawless throughout the entire 4.5-hour shoot. I’m grateful to have teamed up with both of them and to help M + S document this meaningful moment in their journey together. Congratulations, M+S!
