D+W chose to get married on Halloween — not because it’s a holiday, but because it was an auspicious date for both of them to tie the knot! We kicked off the day with a beautiful first look, where D+W finally got to see each other for the first time. Both were filled with anticipation, but all the nerves melted away the moment they embraced — you could feel the calm and love settle in instantly. Before the ceremony began, they got a surprise visit from ABC 7 News, who stopped by for an impromptu interview! Watching them share their story on television about why Halloween held such special meaning was such a fun and memorable moment. And in true Halloween spirit, their officiant — or should we say, deputy — was dressed as a Dalmatian! It was the perfect whimsical touch to a day full of laughter, joy, and heartfelt celebration.
