San Francisco Engagement Photography: Japanese Tea Garden + Baker Beach – Silvia + Kwok

I recently shot this adorable engagement session of Silvia and Kwok at the San Francisco’s Japanese Tea Garden and Baker Beach in San Francisco. I am always a fan of shooting at the these locations because of the lush greenery at the Garden and then the beautiful lighting at Baker Beach. I swear, the sand on the beach acts as a huge reflector for beautiful light on my couples! What I love most about this session in particular was that I was able to break Silvia and Kwok out of their shell. They came into the session a bit shy, but with my guidance, I believe they were able to get more comfortable throughout our time. 🙂 It’s really special to me when I make a connection with my couples and I’m able to get their personalities shining in the photo. This is also another reason why I participating in an engagement session is almost vital to doing before your wedding day! 😀

Silvia and Kwok, I look forward to wrapping up my 2012 wedding season with you two next month!! It’s almost here!! 😀
