I love a good San Francisco wedding and Kim and Kent’s big celebration is one of them! Our coverage began at 1 Hotel San Francisco which is located in the heart of the Embarcadero, close to the Ferry Building. It was my first time stepping foot into this hotel and wow! It’s a very unique hotel that embraces nature, greenery, and natural materials throughout the entire space. Kim and Kent wanted to do their first look on their rooftop that overlooked the city’s skyline. This location was also the perfect place for them to recite their heartfelt and private vows to each other. We then met up with their wedding party at Pier 14 where we captured majority of their portraits before heading over to their wedding venue, The Pearl SF. I’ve been to the Pearl before for a mixer, but it was my first time capturing a wedding in this beautiful space. Their ceremony took place on the rooftop of The Pearl where 180+ guests witness them say “I do” to each other. Guests were served a fusion of Asian cuisines by Michi Catering during cocktail hour that paid homage to their mixed Asian cultures. During the reception, Kim and Kent had a fun money dance where many guests surrounded them with money. We had a great time capturing this special day for Kim and Kent and couldn’t be happier with how the photos turned out. Congratulations, K+K!!
