Waking up at 3 AM to photograph a wedding is never easy, but when it’s for a special wedding, the excitement makes it worth it! I had the incredible opportunity to photograph a stunning morning celebration for a lovely couple from New York, who chose the enchanting Nestldown in Los Gatos, Bay Area, as their wedding venue.

As the sun began to rise, I felt a wave of anticipation for the day ahead. The couple had invited their closest friends and family to witness their vows, creating an intimate atmosphere filled with love and joy.

The day began with the couple preparing at a nearby residence, where they shared their emotional first look. As they beheld one another for the first time, tears of joy flowed freely. We then proceeded to the venue to capture stunning portraits of the couple before their ceremony, which took place in the enchanting Redwood Chapel.

Following the ceremony, they had a beautiful Chinese tea ceremony, where the couple honored their families and shared meaningful moments. The bride wore a breathtaking Chinese dress that had been passed down through generations, a stunning tribute to her heritage. It was a truly touching sight, and I could feel the warmth and love in the air as family members shared their blessings.

We transitioned into a delightful social hour where guests enjoyed delicious food, drinks, and plenty of mingling. It was heartwarming to see everyone connect and celebrate together, creating memories that would last a lifetime.

As the morning came to a close, we wrapped up the wedding with a fun exit. Guests cheered and showered the couple with love as they made their way to a charming vintage car, ready to start their new journey together. The joy and excitement in the air were palpable, and it was the perfect way to end an unforgettable day.
