I always have so many photos to share that it’s hard to post them all in one blog. Today I’m sharing some personal photos I took during my trip to Vermont back in January. If you missed Riverside Farm’s blog I posted a few weeks ago, please check it out here. I went to Vermont with the sweet and bubbly wedding coordinator, Adrienne from Tickled Events.
We left on a red eye Thursday night so we could make it to our destination Pittsfield, VT by 3pm the next day. However, that didn’t happen because we got stuck on our layover in Newark, NJ for 7 hours. My goodness were we super tired. We slept in our chairs until it was time to board our flight to Burlington in the afternoon on Friday. We finally made it into Burlington, VT around 6pm. We were starving. So we got our big rental car and opted for Vietnamese Pho at Pho Dang. Nothing is better than eating comfort food on a long and cold day! The Pho was actually very good and comparable to San Francisco Pho. I was surprised. :]
After dinner, we headed to Amee Farms to check in. We were greeted by Joe, the sweetest inn-keeper at the lodge. He presented Adrienne and I our OWN bedrooms!!! We were also gifted our own goody bags full of yummy treats from The General Store. Talk about generosity!
Gloomy mornings in Pittsfield.
My bedroom was quaint and cozy.
Bathroom selfie… haha
Joe! Amee’s inn-keeper. He’ll help you out with anything!
Continental breakfast at the lodge. It was hearty and yummy to start our day!
A few photos while driving through the small town of Pittsfield.
A delicious burger from The General Store.
So, our car ended up getting stuck driving up the driveway. The roads were super icy and slippery. While driving up the driveway, I made it up 3/4 up and then our car stopped and started sliding down. I started backing up but the car ended off drifting to the side. Luckily, everyone at Riverside Farms was so helpful and comforting to let us know everything was okay and that we would get out… and we did. :]
During our reception dinner at Amee Farms, I won one of the social media contests. I won for documenting my trip from the beginning on Instagram. I won a hoody from Riverside Farm’s hosted Spartan Death Race!
Our dinner catered by Sweet Georgia P’s Farm. All organic and healthy foods!
And the most delicious apple crumpler…. OMG. So good!!!
On our last day in Vermont, we decided to explore a little more of Vermont before heading back to the airport. We checked out Killington!
We had lunch at Liquid Arts in Killington. It’s a very cute art gallery/cafe!
Adrienne and I had a great time in Vermont. I’m so thankful for these opportunities to explore. I can’t wait to see where my next adventures takes me.
