My SPECIAL PROJECT is here!

If you follow me on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram, you may have previewed behind the scenes of my “Special Project.” I am EXTREMELY excited, nervous, and delighted to finally reveal this project I have put so much time, love, effort, and passion. Are you ready?…. ::Drum roll please!::

I made a PROMOTIONAL video!!! Yippeee!!!

I’ve been wanting to create a promo video for years and I finally put my foot down to make it happen. I wanted this video to showcase me, my photography, and my personality. I want all of my couples and future clients to get a feel of my aesthetics and working style right off the back by watching this two and half minute video.

Anton Lorimer of Lorimerworks is the man behind all the magic. He is incredibly talented, efficient, easy-going, and so much fun to work with! For the past few months, he listened to all of my ideas, filmed over the course of three days in three different cities (Wilton, San Francisco, and San Jose) during one of my busiest months (6 weddings and 10 photo sessions) and he created the most AMAZING video for me!! I seriously couldn’t believe how well the video came out. When I first watched it, I felt so many emotions on different levels I’ve never felt before (great feelings, of course)! He’s incredible!!

This video also could not be complete without the following people:

Lindy and Eric, who both took time out of their busy schedule to scout Clarksburg and Wilton for great shooting locations. They also did a one-heck-of-a-job being my sweet wedding couple for the video and took everything I asked them to do and ran with it! Not to mention, Lindy was a true trooper getting her wedding dress swarmed with crickets which was sealed inside her dress by foxtails that stuck all over the bottom. >_<

Mrs. Kathy W. for bringing out the horses to the field and for being so kind and generous to let me ride a horse for the first time!

Grandpa Tom and Grandma Dixie, who ever so graciously allowed us to film on their private property, made us the most delicious BBQ angus hotdogs, and for their kind hospitality in allowing us to get ready inside their home.

Leslie and Kevin, my wonderful engagement couple who both took time to go shopping for outfits to complete my vision, for texting me photos of their clothes while they were in the dressing room (lol), and for being so proactive and enthusiastic about being in the video! Oh! And for photographing through an extremely WINDY and COLD San Francisco night.

Nancy Hua, my lovely makeup artist who did a FABULOUS job with hair and makeup for Lindy and I (and Eric). Words cannot describe what magic she has created for the video! She has also taken behind the scene photos that I will forever cherish!

Laura Miller of Laura Miller Designs, who created a wedding bouquet, boutonniere, and flower crown of my dreams!!! She knew exactly what I had in mind and made the most beautiful flowers to fit my vision.

My little brother, Joe, for bringing the bicycle and my chihuahua Porky, to downtown San Francisco on a busy weeknight when the Giants game played. He also took some behind the scene photos, too!

Lastly, my best friend, Stephanie, who got me into photography, who keeps me on check, always giving me the encouragement to do better, and for being my NUMBER ONE cheerleader. 🙂 Also, she was so kind to send me props for the video.

Thank you all SOOO much from the bottom of my heart for helping me make this video possible. I am beyond words and I couldn’t be happier!

And now, without further ado, enjoy this very special project of mine! 🙂
