I will admit–I’m a photography gear junkie. Over the past few years, I’ve collected a good amount of equipment that I thought I would share what I use to capture my images. To start these series of blogs, I’m going to start with an image I took when I had a free weekend to do some location scouting and landscape photography!
This image was taken at Marshall Beach in San Francisco at 2PM during the bright daylight. I used theΒ Lee Filters Big Stopper and Lee Filters 0.9 GND Soft Filter to cut down almost 11 stops of light–WOW! This allowed me to do a 90 second exposure during the bright daylight.

Hey loved the post, really cool idea showing how to get the image with what gear. I was wondering if you were allowed to be in 2 different affiliate programs at the same time? I’m trying to decide if i’d go with B&H or adorama or both if it was allowed. because i shop at both online stores and love both equally. Any insight into this would be great!
Hey Brandon! You can join as many affiliate programs as you like. You can definitely do B&H and Adorama at the same time. I would check to see how much percentage you would get back from any referred sales. Have fun!
