This session was so much fun to photograph. Kristine and Joel came into the session quite nervous… I assured them that there is no reason for them to be nervous and that we are just going to have a ton of fun! And sure of enough, they were having a blast! They actually surprised me with how quickly both of them came out of their shells. Five minutes into the session, they were tackling each other down and having such a great time! I don’t even think they were aware of the camera anymore. Their energy was both focused on each other… and that is how every session I photograph should be. I love every bit of chemistry this couple has. It’s playful yet romantic. And this is what my photograph is all about. We began our session by taking photos at the high school where they met. I love how they incorporated a football theme and that we had the entire field ourselves! We then headed our way to the Embarcadero – Cupids Span. This was a significant location to them because they felt that fate had brought them together. We ended our walk at the beautiful Pier 7 to capture some beautiful golden light. I had to save this last photo for last… it is one of my absolute ALL TIME FAVORITES. It’s romantic and it’s San Francisco… Perfect couple, perfect match.
