Rainy Day Sunol Wedding: Nella Terra – Nancy + Jason

Nancy and Jason married on the rainiest day in May last year. On this day, hundreds of weddings throughout the Bay Area were challenged with this all-day downpour of rain. At this particular venue Nella Terra Cellars, majority of the activities take place outdoors (ceremony, portraits) and then the reception takes place in an indoor tent. Nancy and Jason were set to marry outdoors overlooking the pond but they had to make a Plan B and move the ceremony into the reception tent. Tables were already set but pushed off to the side and the staff were able to set up the ceremony on top of the dance floor. Luckily after the ceremony, we had a 15 minutes pocket where it stopped raining! We captured as many portraits as possible outdoors. Even though it rained all day, it didn’t stop Nancy and Jason having a beautiful day celebrating their love and marriage. I was able to feel all the heartfelt emotions throughout the day and this is what’s most important about a wedding. Thank you Nancy and Jason for having us photograph your gorgeous wedding!
