San Mateo Marriott Wedding: Liz + Harvey

Liz and Harvey’s wedding is the first postponed wedding from 2020 that I got to photograph this year in 2021! They were ready to get married last year in May 2020 but due to Covid, they had to cancel their wedding plans. It was tough for them because everything was set in stone during that time. However, they found another date this year to get married and it happened at the San Mateo Marriott. Despite having to make a changes like the reception venue, guest count, and following CDC guidelines, they made it work out with their immediate families and closes friends. While they did not have a wedding ceremony, we got to spend our time at the San Mateo’s Central Park and do wedding party and couple portraits. At the reception, guest trickled in during cocktail hour and had a great time hanging out during the reception. There wasn’t any dancing by Liz and Harvey had a fun-filled reception bringing everyone together during a pandemic. I am so happy that this couple got to move forward with their wedding.
