Playa Del Carmen Wedding: The Fives Beach Hotel and Residence – Kay + Jason

I had the ultimate pleasure of photographing Kay and Jason’s wedding at The Fives Beach Hotel and Residence in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico! Playa Del Carmen is located 45 minutes south of Cancun. I’m truly honored that Kay and Jason asked me to photograph their wedding, let alone plan their wedding based on my schedule and availability! This resort is enormous with over 21 buildings of hotel rooms which means I had a lot of scouting to do the day before. Luckily, I found a very tropical backdrop that was perfect for their first look, wedding party photos, and couple portraits! This resort has a variety of different backdrops from tropical to rustic woods to the beach. Kay and Jason’s love story began 20 years ago when they were high school sweethearts! They invited their closes friends and immediate family to celebrate their marriage. I admire Kay and Jason’s love for each other and I couldn’t be more honored to capture their wedding in Mexico.
