I still can’t believe how quickly the last three months have flown by! From the surprise proposal to the engagement session and now to their beautiful wedding day—J+A have officially come full circle. On July 4th, they tied the knot at the historic Log Cabin in San Francisco’s Presidio, surrounded by family, friends, and the ever-present Bay Area wind!

In fact, the wind became something of a running theme throughout all their photo sessions. And true to form, it made one last blustery appearance on their wedding day. But by now, we had all grown accustomed to dancing with it—turning those gusts into cinematic moments that only added to the charm of their love story.

One of the most unforgettable highlights of the day—something I haven’t photographed before during a wedding—was their gender reveal during the reception! That’s right, J+A are also expecting their first baby! In a sweet moment, they scooped into their wedding cake with a wine glass, and J exclaimed, “It’s a GIRL!!” The room erupted with cheers, applause, and so much joy. It was such an honor to witness and capture that once-in-a-lifetime moment.

As the evening came to a close, we snuck away for a few golden hour portraits. And finally, the wind took a rest, giving us the calmest, dreamiest light to end an already magical day.

It has truly been one of the greatest honors to document every step of J+A’s journey—from the surprise proposal to the promise of new life. Congratulations, J+A! Wishing you a lifetime of love, laughter, and joy as you begin this next chapter—both as husband and wife, and soon, as mommy and daddy.
