I’m thrilled to share the first big wedding of 2026 on the blog! I photographed B+B’s engagement session last summer, and earlier this winter they said “I do” at Stonetree Golf Club in Novato, California. We began the day at their new home, where they got ready surrounded by their closest friends. The biggest reason they chose to get ready at home? Photos with their furbabies, of course! It was such a relaxed and meaningful way to start the day.

Once we arrived at the venue, they both slipped into their wedding attire before meeting for their first look beneath a beautiful cherry blossom tree. Seeing each other for the first time as bride and groom was such a joyful moment, and the excitement between them was absolutely contagious.

Their wedding happened to fall perfectly between rainy days, gifting us with the most incredible light throughout the entire celebration. During the ceremony, they exchanged the most heartfelt vows while their pup, Todd, barked enthusiastically in agreement—definitely stealing a few laughs and plenty of attention from their loved ones!

Guests enjoyed a fabulous cocktail hour with delicious hors d’oeuvres before heading into dinner. Instead of a traditional wedding cake, the couple chose the groom’s favorite dessert—pie! An assortment of pies awaited guests, and they were quickly devoured. And the food didn’t stop there. Later in the evening, The Waffle Roost food truck rolled in to keep everyone fueled on the dance floor while a live band, Lucky Devils Band, kept the celebration going all night long.

It was truly a wonderful wedding and the perfect way to kick off the 2026 wedding season. Congratulations, B+B!
